My favorite part of the day is when my kids and I settle down, put away the math, and get to discover new and fascinating things together. When we learn something new, sometimes our eyes light up and sometimes we feel heavy. Many times we crack up laughing, and sometimes all we can do is sit and lament.
Always, we pray to see God in the midst of the hard history and thank God for the opportunity to learn and grow together through homeschooling.
I’m known to bore my kids with documentaries (sometimes it induces long afternoon naps, though, so it’s a win/win).
I believe in life-long learning.
In 2019, I shared the curriculum I inadvertently created while trying to find more inclusive resources for my kids. Through this, I’ve been able to connect with a beautiful community of like-minded parents who are committed to telling our kids the truth about history.
